While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I encountered behind its walls was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .
The State of Affairs: Filthy and Disregarded
From the moment I stepped inside , it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority at this venue. The ground was covered in grime , and a foul smell of old alcohol and filthy restrooms permeated the entire venue . With a smell of a mixture of human waste, a rotting odor and a sickly smell. The serving zone , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and debris that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The toilet was in even more deplorable shape —overflowing , with a shattered handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was human excrement .
It wasn’t just a one-off bad night either.
